Benefits of Writing Articles

You’ve heard it time and time again: if you want to get your name out there you should be writing articles and allow them to be freely reproduced (with a resource box pointing back to you, of course). Largely, that is true. A well-written article can:

* Help you build your profile as an expert
* Drive traffic to your site
* Help you build a database of potential clients through related e-courses or a newsletter

So far you probably haven’t heard anything you didn’t already know. What you are likely to be struggling with is the process of actually writing articles. Sure, you can come up with the content – but how do you really grab those readers? How do you keep their attention all the way through? And most importantly, how do you make them want to come back for more?

In this article, I’m going to share with you several EzineArticles tips and strategies that I have learned over the years when it comes to writing and submitting articles to ezinearticles.com. Most of the strategies below can be used for any article directory but some focus directly on EzineArticles.

Some of the EzineArticles tips that will be included are:

* Getting on the EzineArticles most viewed list (at the bottom below the article)

* How to get more attention to your resource box (and your link)

When you put up your first website you have to admit that you are pretty green to the ways of the Internet World. You think that once your website is up and you have put your links in place, you will be in the money. Myself and many other people would love for that to be true. Just think how many Super Affiliates we would have. I will give you a small sampling of what to truly expect.

You will be excited at first and you will have a sense of pride in your accomplishment. Granted, it is no small feat to getting a website up and online. But this is just the beginning of your Internet Marketing experience.

Writing articles every couple of weeks or so is a great idea for your online business but it can sometimes be hard to find good subject matter for your article.  You write article after article and finally you just seem to draw a blank on what to write about.  I am sure that has happened to all of us at one time or another.

When it happens to me there are a few things that I can do to find fresh ideas.  These tips will work for you as well.  Below are some good places to find interesting and fresh article content.    

*Blogs – Blogs are a great place to find ideas for your article as many different things are discussed on blogs.  People share their opinions, ideas, experiences and questions.

*Message Boards – Message boards are a good source of information as well.  Follow the discussions and see what things people are interested in and need to know more about.  I have written many articles from information I read on the boards. (more…)
